Keep in mind that some software and hardware may not be compatible with a 64-bit operating system. Most modern creative software is now 64-bit compatible. The StormDrive optical drive in your Rain computer is designed to produce low heat and noise. Connected via SATA II with a 2MB buffer, you can burn and play CD's, DVD's and Blu-Ray DVD's for backup, file sharing or distribution.

Your Rain computer includes a 750W PSU designed for low heat and low noise operation. Optional upgrades include a 850W or 1100W power supply recommended for high bandwidth expansion cards like video capture devices, SLI or Crossfire graphics and DSP cards like the UAD-2 Quad.

Though your Rain computer includes a wired, gigabit ethernet port, you can also add a wireless card to connect to a high speed, wireless internet connection for networking, file sharing and surfing the web.
