Overview

A body built for just one thing. Everything about Solstice is dedicated to digital audio starting with an all-aluminum chassis designed to let air flow freely around the internal components and then dissipate naturally through the body.

Perfectly balanced. A carefully balanced component architecture ensures the smooth flow of data through the complete system. The power to record, mix and edit without bottlenecks, drop-outs or distortion.

Plug it all in. Solstice is configured for digital audio with two separate FireWire chipsets for maximum compatibility with your audio hardware. Also included, 7 USB 2.0 ports, PCI and PCIe connections and a Dual Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW optical drive.

Recover fast. Your RainCare Precision support plan includes recovery software pre-configured to return your system to its original factory default at the touch of a button. Upgrade to RainCare Encompass for additional audio integration support.

AMD in 2, 3 or 4 cores. Power your Solstice with your choice of an AMD Athlon Dual-Core or Phenom Triple- or Quad-Core processors. Huge power without all the heat.

FireWire. With two FireWire ports on the industry-standard TI Chipset, Solstice is ready for maximum compatibility with your audio interface from Pro Tools to Presonus.

Advanced memory. Control your plug-ins and virtual instruments at lightning speed with dual inline memory chips designed for high-speed performance and low heat.

High speed storage. Put an end to data bottlenecks with up to 4 Terabytes of high speed storage spinning at 7200RPM with 32MB buffers.

Take control. Solstice includes an full-size, aluminum Rain keyboard and Microsoft optical USB mouse. Plug it in and start creating right out of the box.

Graphic power by ATI. Take a load off the CPU without a seperate graphics card. The ATI Radeon graphics processor powers up to four displays.
